Prosecutors are looking to put the man accused of the Payne Hollow triple murder and arson case in jail for good.
On Thursday, Blount County Attorney General Ryan Desmond submitted a notice of intent to seek a life without parole sentence against Johnny Ray Wilburn.
Wilburn, 57, was arrested Jan. 21, 2025, less than a day after firefighters recovered the bodies of Cas Ivan Farley, 61, Delmar Marty Farley, 59, and Norma Kay Farley, 65, from their burned down home on Payne Hollow Road.
