Motorcyclist injured after crash involving bear, Tennessee Highway Patrol says

BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol said a motorcyclist was injured after a crash involving a bear Friday evening in Blount County.

According to THP, a 69-year-old woman from Maryland was traveling in the 6100 block of East Lamar Alexander Parkway when she lost control and went into a skid before coming to rest in the middle of the roadway.

A witness, who THP said did not remain on the scene, told her significant other that she hit a bear, which ran away after the crash…
