KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office closed its investigation into a fire that destroyed a local restaurant after being unable to determine the cause.
On June 10, Cheers at Choto, a sports bar and grill by Ft. Loudon Lake, burned down. After examining the scene, reviewing evidence, and conducting a follow-up investigation, KCSO’s fire investigation unit couldn’t definitively determine what caused the fire, the office announced Monday morning. The cause was ruled as ‘undetermined’
Around 9% of registered voters have voted in Knox County
The investigation is now closed. KCSO thanked partner agencies and the public.
