KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The number of road rage incidents in Knoxville has dropped by around 62% compared to this time last year, the Knoxville Police Department said.
As of Wednesday, KPD reports 41 road rage incidents have happened this year, 14 of which involved a firearm being displayed. In three incidents, shots were fired. This is compared to 66 road rage incidents by this time last year, 31 of which involved a firearm being displayed. In eight incidents, shots were fired.
