Knox County Sheriff’s Office takes arson suspect into custody at Knoxville hotel

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – The Knox County Sheriff’s Office Thursday took into custody Lee “Matthew” Wolfe, a Knoxville man wanted for a plethora of crimes, including setting fire to an apartment building just a day before, according to a KCSO representative.

The swatting happened around 11:00 a.m. at the Hampton Inn in the Executive Park area, KCSO said.

A search started for Wolfe after he was suspected to be linked to an arson investigation from the prior day…
