KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is looking into allegations of misconduct involving a deputy with the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, the TBI said.
KCSO said one of its lieutenants was reassigned to a non-investigative role pending the outcome of a TBI investigation. He had previously been assigned to the Narcotics Unit.

6th Judicial District Attorney General Charme Allen requested that the TBI investigate these allegations, according to the TBI. This is an active and ongoing investigation, the TBI said Wednesday morning.
