KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Unsettled weather kicking off the workweek ahead of a taste of fall arriving late week.
FIRST ALERT WEATHER DAY MONDAY: The Storm Prediction Center has highlighted all of East TN in a Level 1 out of 5 Risk for severe weather. A few spotty morning downpours will make way to a bit more storm coverage during the afternoon heading into the overnight hours. A few storms could linger through Tuesday morning. Some storms could pack a punch with gusty winds and heavy rain that could lead to isolated flooding.
Outside of any storms, it’ll be another hot and humid day. High temperatures will reach the low 90s with feels like temperatures in the middle to upper 90s.
