KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Today marks the last completely dry day of the week, with rain chances entering the forecast starting Friday afternoon.
THURSDAY: Expect mostly sunny skies and no chance of rain. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 80s, dropping to the mid 60s overnight.
FRIDAY: We start the day dry, but as we draw closer to the afternoon, we will see spotty shower chances. A frontal system will bring heavier rain to southern Kentucky through the evening. Due to the position of this stalled front, we will have portions of the southern Tennessee counties stay dry for the day. Thunderstorms are possible through the evening.
