Tennessee Vols head coach Josh Heupel was in Saint Louis on Wednesday to check in on a 2025 four-star wide receiver.
Heupel visited four-star wide receiver Corey Simms at Christian Brothers College on Wednesday.
“It felt good for Tennessee VOLS head coach Heupel to pay me a personal visit at school yesterday,” wrote Simms in a tweet. “I appreciate you taking the time to chat with my parents and I. Thanks for making me [a] priority!”
Simms, 6-foot-3/192 lbs from Saint Louis, is rated by 247Sports as the No. 38 wide receiver in the nation and the No. 4 player in the state of Missouri.
Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, and Wisconsin are among the other programs that have already offered the talented wide receiver.
Simms was in Knoxville last fall for the Vols’ blowout win against South Carolina. He also visited Tennessee last summer for a camp.
The four-star wide receiver reportedly runs the 40-yard dash in 4.45 seconds, so it’s easy to see why the Vols are making him a priority.
Simms doesn’t have a planned commitment date just yet.
