Choctaw County wide receiver Caleb Cunningham is planning another trip to Knoxville, Tennessee. Cunningham told VolQuest that he’s planning to get back to campus after his first trip to Rocky Top for the Georgia game in November. He ranks as the No. 11 prospect in the 2025 cycle, according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings.
“It was great; I enjoyed it,” Cunningham said of the atmosphere at the Georgia game. “Even though they lost, I still enjoyed it. I know they will get better, and Georgia is a great team, but Tennessee played hard until the end of the game, and the atmosphere was crazy,” the 2025 five-star says. “The fans were definitely involved; they were so loud I couldn’t hear what the people beside me were saying, and I loved looking at all of the orange clothing all over the stadium.”
Cunningham had the chance to speak with some of the coaches, and it was very clear what their message to him was. “I got to talk to Coach [Kelsey] Pope and Coach [Kody] Cook , and it went pretty well. The conversations were primarily about life and how bad they want me.” Being a priority is important to Cunningham, and the coaches have let him know how they feel at Tennessee. “I definitely feel like a priority there; I have a strong relationship with the coach; they call me about every other day and have good conversations with me, and I feel love from them. Coach Pope has told me that I have a chance to start my freshman year if I keep putting the hard work in and getting better every day.”
