During the one-day trial, prosecutors told the jury that in the early morning of June 13, 2022, Hall went to their home off of Beaver Creek Drive and began arguing with the victim about the divorce and hidden cameras he had placed in their bedroom.

During the argument, prosecutors said Hall grabbed the victim and struck her with a belt before taking her phone and leaving the house.

The victim was able to find and charge an old phone to call the police. Knox County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrived at the home and saw the victim’s injuries. A few days later, the victim went to the Family Justice Center to continue the investigation and receive victim’s services.
