KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Appalachian Bear Rescue is currently searching for surrogate families for recently orphaned bear cubs. On Jan. 25, ABR said that two orphaned bear cubs were found in Blount Bounty. The mother of the cubs had run away after a fight with some dogs in the area and did not return, leaving her two cubs behind, according to ABR.
