MCDOWELL COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) – An investigation is underway after the death of a vulnerable adult from North Carolina was reported to authorities. A press release from the Pigeon Forge Police Department in Tennessee says on Feb. 1, 2024, the department was made aware by investigators with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office of the death of a vulnerable adult male from North Carolina.
