KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A woman missing from her New Market Hom has been found according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
Sharon Looney, 71, was located near her home in New Market according to the TBI. The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said she was taken to a local hospital. JCSO added that she was found by a THP helicopter and the crew was able to direct a search team to her location.

Previously, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office said she was last seen around 2 p.m. on Wednesday near her home on Horseshoe Bend Road in New Market. On Thursday, the TBI issued a Silver Alert for her.
Wednesday night, the sheriff’s office said several agencies were actively searching for her in the area.
