Key Vols recruiting target calls Tennessee ‘home’ after naming his top schools

One of the Tennessee Vols’ top 2025 recruiting targets is four-star athlete Cameron Sparks.

On Thursday, Sparks revealed his top six schools and he included Tennessee, along with Georgia, Michigan, Florida State, Miami, and Auburn.

Sparks, 6-foot-3/210 lbs from Chattanooga, TN (Baylor School), is rated by 247Sports as the No. 1 athlete in the nation and the No. 2 player in the state of Tennessee. He’s also rated as the No. 42 overall player in the 2025 recruiting class (which means he’s not far away from being a five-star recruit).

After naming his top schools, Sparks, who visited Knoxville this past weekend, told 247Sports that Tennessee is “home”.

“They have always been home for me,” said Sparks . “They were recruiting me at an early age and we have a great bond.”

Sparks, who is expected to play wide receiver in college, is on a 7-on-7 team with 2025 five-star Vols quarterback commit George MacIntyre. That’s something that should obviously help Tennessee in this recruiting battle.
