Heavy rain overnight is moving east, and the Tennessee Valley will remain dry during the morning and early afternoon before our next round of rain arrives during the mid to late afternoon hours. Rainfall will once again be heavy at times. A few thunderstorms are possible. The severe threat remains low. Temps in the 60s. Tonight, rain and thunderstorms are expected. Rain will be heavy at times, especially for locations east of I-65. Temps in the 50s. Monday, still a potential for strong storms through noon for locations east of I-65. Lingering showers during the afternoon. Temps in the 60s early in the day, falling into the 50s by evening. Monday night, colder, breezy with clearing. Temps in the 30s.
