Fountain City Chick-fil-A closed for remodeling

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. ( WATE ) — Chick-fil-A fans around North Knoxville will have to drive a little further for the foreseeable future with Fountain City location temporarily closed for renovations.

The Chick-fil-A at 5100 N. Broadway Street has been closed since Monday, Feb. 12, according to a post shared on the restaurant’s Facebook page. A sign hanging on a fence facing drivers passing on North Broadway reads, “We’ll be back.”

The restaurant did not share an estimated reopening date in their Facebook post.

Lots in store at Dollywood for 2024 season

There are 10 total Chick-fil-A restaurants in and around Knoxville, including two on the University of Tennessee campus. The next closest location from the Fountain City store by driving distance is the Powell restaurant at 540 E. Emory Road.

The restaurants at 4944 Kingston Pike and 6564 Clinton Highway also have similar driving times from Fountain City.
