‘College GameDay’ Makes Subtle Lee Corso Announcement for Week 4

College GameDay ” is headed to Norman, Oklahoma, for a primetime matchup between the No. 6 Tennessee Volunteers (3-0) and the No. 15 Oklahoma Sooners (3-0) on Saturday.

The show will kick off at 9 AM Eastern, and the crew made an exciting announcement regarding the legendary Lee Corso , who turned 89 this year, amid speculation about his future on the show.

Corso did not travel to Dublin, Ireland, for Week Zero but returned to his iconic role during Week 1 in College Station, where he correctly predicted Notre Dame’s victory over Texas A&M.

On Thursday, “College GameDay” confirmed that Corso will indeed be in Norman, ready to make his weekly headgear pick, a tradition he’s maintained with remarkable consistency.

This season, aside from Week Zero, Corso has picked every game correctly, going 3-0 overall and choosing each road team to win. If this trend continues, he will be backing Tennessee on Saturday.

Corso has praised freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava, suggesting he could win multiple Heisman trophies in the future. However, this will be Iamaleava’s first true road test, and it marks Oklahoma’s debut in the SEC after moving from the Big 12.
