KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -In a recent post on Facebook Saturday morning, the TVA confirmed that the Nolichucky River has crested, but the dam remains intact. The TVA post has video of the river. Water is currently receding by about one foot per hour, according to TVA, and the dam safety teams are in the process of assessing the condition of the dam to determine next steps.
