Alabama has had its fair share of injuries that have created negative short-term impacts on the team this season.
Opening up the season, the Tide suffered a few minor injuries on the offensive line as well as the inexperienced depth of their younger running backs. Just last week against South Carolina, the Tide saw cornerback Domani Jackson suffer a lower leg injury, but would ultimately return later in the game. His status for Saturday’s game against Tennessee is probable.
Alabama was without two receivers against the Gamecocks Kendrick Law and Kobe Prentice, who have regularly been involved in the starting offensive rotation. On Thursday, both Law and Prentice were no longer listed on the Tide’s injury report , leading to the belief that they will be healthy and available for Saturday’s game against the Volunteers.
Alabama’s offense seemed out of balance and non-explosive against South Carolina, and these two receivers being available will tremendously improve the lack of depth they felt last week.
