For the second time in two years, Remote Area Medical and local partners will be providing free medical, dental and vision services to anyone who shows up to the pop-up clinic in Anderson County.
The free services will be provided Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 2-3, at First Baptist Church in Clinton, located at 225 N. Main St. Services will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. The parking lot at the church will open at 11:59 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, and stay open throughout the duration of the clinic. Clinic doors will open at 6 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
“Once in the parking lot, patients will receive additional information regarding clinic processes andnext steps,” stated a news release from Remote Area Medical, known as RAM. “Sunday’s clinic operations will be an abbreviated day, so patients are advised to arrive as early as possible. Due to time constraints, patients should be prepared to choose between dental and vision services, and all patients are offered general medical care.
