Co-owners of Rocky Hill Pharmacy accused of health care fraud conspiracy

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The co-owners of Rocky Hill Pharmacy have been indicted on multiple charges amid accusations that they were part of a health care fraud conspiracy that involved altering and forging prescriptions to get money from drug plan and pharmacy benefit managers.

According to the federal indictment, which is dated October 16, 2024, Rocky Hill Pharmacy and its co-owners, Tiffany Haney and Anne Warren, conspired to commit health care fraud. Both Haney and Warren were pharmacists licensed to practice in Tennessee, the indictment states.

Between August 2017 and July 2024, the indictment claims that Rocky Hill Pharmacy was paid $8,572,470.08 by drug plans, pharmacy benefit managers and other health care benefit programs because of the conspiracy. Haney and Warren were charged with conspiracy to commit health care fraud, making false statement relating to health care matters and aggravated identity theft.
