Knoxville’s annual ‘Tour de Lights’ holiday bike ride returning on Dec. 14

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – A Knoxville tradition that usually sees Santa and elves touring the city on bright bicycles is returning this year – the Tour de Lights. During the annual holiday bike ride, riders are encouraged to dress up in festive costumes. Many wrap their bicycles with lights, and some show up in red suits or long, white beards. This year, organizers said there is a costume contest where participants can show off their creativity. People who register for the event will also have a chance to win a mountain bike.
