Another Josh Heupel halftime video clip goes viral following Tennessee’s win against Kentucky

The Tennessee Vols haven’t held a lead at halftime since their 25-15 win on the road against the Oklahoma Sooners in September.

Tennessee has trailed at the half in each of its last four games. They’ve come back to take the lead, however, in the second half of each of those games (though they eventually lost to Arkansas after a nine point fourth quarter from the Razorbacks).

The Vols obviously want to get off to better starts in games. But for whatever reason, it seems like Tennessee is ready to go in the second half of games, which is why they’re currently 7-1 and ranked No. 7 in the College Football Playoff rankings.

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel is managing to work some magic at halftime to get the Vols going. Two weeks ago, a clip of Heupel telling his players that they would be smoking cigars at the end of the night despite trailing Alabama at halftime went viral .

Another Heupel halftime quote went viral this week following the Vols’ win against Kentucky.

On Tuesday, Tennessee’s social media team tweeted their ” cinematic recap ”  of the win against the Wildcats (an incredible feature from UT this season, by the way). In the middle of that video, Heupel, while wearing his hat backward, passionately tells his team to “go take the damn thing”.
