Tennessee softball is back for one night to hold a home run derby.
The Lady Vols , and some alums, will participate in a home run derby Friday at Sherri Parker Lee Stadium. They’ll also honor one of their “Legends of the Game” Lauren Gibson as a part of their homecoming festivities.
The derby will start at 6 p.m. ET and is open and free to the public. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and fans are allowed to bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages.
There will be two separate contests – one with three rounds for 15 current players and one with two rounds for seven alumni.
The current Lady Vols participating are Alannah Leach, Amayah Doyle, Aubrey Barnhart, Bella Faw, Camryn Sarvis, Destiny Rodriguez, Ella Dodge, Emma Clarke, Gabby Leach, Jackie Kirkpatrick, Katie Taylor, Kinsey Fiedler, McKenna Gibson, Ryan Brown and Taylor Pannell.
The alumni are Angela Brewer, Aubrey Leach, Katie Weimer, Lauren Gibson, Natalie Brock, Ryleigh White and Rylie West.
