Tennessee Man Convicted on Felony Charges for Assault and Destruction During Capitol Riot

A Tennessee man has been found guilty of a string of charges related to the January 6 Capitol riot, in a case that reflects the ongoing legal reckoning for those involved in the breach of federal buildings. Edward Kelley, 35, from Maryville, was convicted on three felony counts, including civil disorder, assaulting law enforcement, and destruction of government property over $1,000, as reported by the Department of Justice.
