KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – Crews are putting the finishing touches on the new home of the Smokies in downtown Knoxville. Landscapers began laying sod Tuesday morning at Convenant Health Park. Just a few weeks earlier crews started installing seats in the stands. Developers say the stadium is on track to open by April 2025.
