KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Two Knoxville stores are being affected by major chain closures: Big Lots and Party City in Fountain City. Just blocks from one another, the two chains announced widespread closures last month. In the case of Party City, CNN reported that the chain is going out of business after 40 years.
