Knoxville, Knox County taking donations and volunteers ahead of frigid weather

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – Knoxville and Knox County’s Office of Housing Stability is preparing for forecasted frigid temperatures, and the office needs a little help. The next week is expected to bring temperatures that rival the freeze of December 2022, meaning the office is opening warming shelters for those in need. However, the office is also asking for volunteers and donations.
