OLIVER SPRINGS, Tenn. — A man wanted on multiple charges was taken into custody Thursday following a search in the Railroad Avenue area, according to the Oliver Springs Police Department.
Officers say they received a tip that the suspect, identified as 54-year-old Ronnie Carroll, was at a home on Railroad Avenue. When officers arrived, Carroll reportedly fled on foot and attempted to hide in a dense patch of bamboo. After a brief search, he was located and arrested without further incident.
Police said Carroll was wanted on three counts of violating probation related to a 2019 assault and kidnapping case. During the investigation, authorities also discovered he had failed to report his address as required under the Sex Offender Registry, a violation of state law…
