KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A $5,000 reward is being offered for information in the case of two dogs found abandoned in a Knoxville parking lot, one of which was dead with a plastic bag tied over its head.
Humane World for Animals, an animal welfare nonprofit organization, has provided the reward for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of whomever may be responsible for the abandonment of two terrier mix-breed puppies. They were found in the parking lot of 809 E. Emerald Avenue on the morning of May 5.

The second dog was found was found alive without any visible injuries, but investigators did recover a second bag on the property. She has since been adopted , Young-Williams Animal Center said Friday.
