KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Knoxville Police Department is investigating a fatal car crash in downtown Knoxville.
According to KPD, officials responded to the ramp from Broadway to Hall of Fame Drive around 8:35 a.m. on May 9, where they said a car had run off the road and collided with the bridge support before flipping onto its top.
The driver, an adult woman, was transported to the University of Tennessee Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. She was later pronounced dead, KPD said…
