Maryville man arrested after allegedly tampering with gas valves

A Maryville man has been arrested after allegedly tampering with gas valves, causing a multitude of nearby businesses to evacuate Friday afternoon.

Christopher Kyle Duke, 35, Maryville, was arrested at 11:35 a.m. May 9 by Maryville Police officers and charged with vandalism, burglary, reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, and tampering with a utility meter.
