One of the most anticipated events of the year, Summer on Broadway returns to the streets of downtown Maryville on Friday, June 20, and Saturday, June 21. An opportunity to stroll along Broadway while it’s closed to traffic, it offers pedestrians an opportunity to explore stores and restaurants while also examining the wares of vendors who have set up shop on the sidewalks.
The festivities will take place Friday from noon until 10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
In addition to the shopping, an array of entertainment is planned as well. A new performance stage will be set up near the Bluetick parking lot, which will also be home to a children’s play area and feature live music. Live music will also take place at Two Doors Down on Friday at 5 p.m. with the band Rewired and on Saturday at 11 a.m. with the Jay Storm Project…
