KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — The Knoxville Police Department has announced details of an upcoming sobriety checkpoint.
KPD officers will conduct a sobriety checkpoint along Kingston Pike on the night of Friday, June 20. Officers will check motorists for signs of alcohol or drug impairment.

The most recent KPD sobriety checkpoint occurred on March 28 in the 1100 block of N. Broadway. Over 600 drivers were checked for signs of intoxication. No DUI arrests were made.
