Two injured in Sevier County shooting, investigation underway

SEVIER COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Two people were injured in a shooting in Sevier County, the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office said.

On Monday, SCSO responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting from a home on the 2200 block of Maples Branch Road. Deputies and detectives went to the home, securing the area.

Investigation underway after child injured, man killed in Tazewell shooting

Inside, they found two people with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds. The deputies provided aid, and emergency medical personnel took them to a hospital.
