POWELL, Tenn. — An 85-year-old man died after a multi-vehicle wreck off Interstate 75 in Knox County, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.
Officials responded to the wreck near East Emory Road at Barnett Way on June 13. According to a crash report from THP, 85-year-old Margaret Cain and her passenger, 85-year-old Howard Cain, were entering East Emory from Barnett in a 2015 Chevy Malibu at the same time 43-year-old Jessica Lee Davis-Harvey was travelling east on Emory in a 2019 Toyota 4Runner.
Margaret failed to yield the right of way to traffic as she entered the interstate and struck Davis’s vehicle, causing the vehicle to spiral before coming to an uncontrolled stop on the road, the report said…
