Tennessee law lowers BAC limit for aggravated vehicular charges

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – July 1, 2025 marks the start of a change to a bill that became law last year. This will require just a 0.15 blood alcohol concentration (BAC) when charging a person with aggravated vehicular crimes.

A bill that took effect last year lowered the minimum BAC for an aggravated DUI from 0.20 to 0.15.
