50th annual Gatlinburg Midnight Parade kicks off Fourth of July

GATLINBURG, Tenn. (WATE) — Gatlinburg kicked off the Fourth of July with its 50th annual Midnight Parade. 6 News spoke with paradegoers on Thursday night as they began to gather along the Parkway.

People poured into downtown Gatlinburg for one of the most iconic Independence Day traditions.

“We’re so excited to watch the parade. We do this every year for our girls and we’re just excited to be here in Gatlinburg,” said attendee Shirley Misiak.
