MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A Maryville business and a nonprofit organization are holding a firework-free Independence Day celebration for veterans.
Dragon City and Mission Pheonix are hosting the event for veterans who find fireworks triggering, they said on Facebook. The event is at 4407 Calderwood Highway from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on July 4. Partners and service animals are welcome.
“Enjoy a fun, safe, and supportive evening with Food, Entertainment, and Community,” the event description said, “no fireworks, just FREEDOM.”
