FRIENDSVILLE, Tenn. — Acadia Village Behavioral Health has decided not to move forward with its proposed plan to build a psychiatric health facility in Friendsville.
According to a release, the organization had been exploring the possibility of relocating its adolescent treatment center—currently based in Louisville—to Friendsville for the past two years. The proposed facility was aimed at serving youths experiencing severe mental health challenges, such as depression and PTSD.
