Man gets 18 years in prison for shooting at THP troopers in Knox County

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. — A man convicted of first-degree murder for shooting at Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers after a high-speed chase in January 2025 was sentenced Thursday, according to the district attorney general’s office.

The Knox County District Attorney General’s Office said Eugenio Abraham Solis-Klarks, 31, was sentenced to 18 years in prison without the possibility of parole.
