‘A nightmare’ East TN man faces delays, errors in pool construction

GRAINGER COUNTY, Tenn. (WATE) — Another new pool owner said a Lenoir City contractor abandoned the job without fixing critical mistakes, while the contractor said it’s the customer’s fault. This is the second time Custom Home Solutions has laid the blame on its clients. The pool builder has more or less cut off communications after complaints were lodged against their quality of work.

Jerry Ard’s pool is full of water, but it is not ready for his family to splash around in yet. There’s a lot of work left before anyone takes a dip due to delays and mistakes, which he blames on his contractor.

“A nightmare, a complete nightmare. Every aspect of it was wrong. Nothing has gone well,” said Ard.
