KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – As the start of the new school year nears, several churches across Knox County are hosting events to ensure students have supplies before they return to the classroom.
Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs announced the “School Supply Slam,” which will give students numerous opportunities to access school supplies, thanks to a collaboration of local businesses, non-profit organizations and faith-based partners.
