KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The family of a 21-year-old motorcyclist killed in a wreck on North Broadway will host a memorial ride to raise awareness about driving safety next week.
The ride is scheduled for 1 p.m. on July 20 in front of Longway Barbeque on Lovell Road. Kodie’s mother, Kathleen, organized the event in hopes of promoting awareness around motorcyclist safety.
“The family is just asking people to look twice, be aware of who’s around them, and don’t try to beat another vehicle. We all know that when the weather is nice, there are more motorcycles on the road. They are aware of you, so please be more aware of them,” Kathleen said…
