KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Two people are safe after a West Knoxville home caught fire while they were sleeping early Monday morning, according to the Knoxville Fire Department.
KFD said firefighters were called to the home in the 3100 block of Sanderson Road at 3:05 a.m. Monday. The fire was reported on the back right side of the home and had flames coming from the house.
KFD said two people inside the home were asleep at the time of the fire and were woken up by their smoke alarms. They were able to safely evacuate the home…
