KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee Department of Transportation crews are making progress on a Knox County bridge replacement project.
TDOT is working to replace the two-span Interstate 275 bridge over Elm Street and Bernard Avenue in Knox County with a single-span concrete box beam bridge. The department shared an update on the project Saturday morning, sharing that crews were working to install set beams and deck panels.
“Things are progressing nicely at the I-275 bridge replacement project in Knox County. This morning, crews on the northbound side set beams and are currently installing deck panels. Southbound bridge work occurred last weekend.” TDOT spokesperson Mark Nagi said…
