Missing child last seen in Sevierville found safe after alert, father in custody

SEVIERVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — A boy was found safe after the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation issued an Endangered Child Alert.

On Sunday morning, the TBI issued an alert for the 6-year-old saying they believed that he was with his non-custodial father, Jorge Ramos Lopez, 34. The pair had last been seen near Ten Point Lane in Sevierville, according to the TBI.

Lopez was wanted by the Sevier County Sheriff’s Office on charges of aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault, the TBI said.
