KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Knoxville business owners are thanking the community for their support after a window of their store, displaying a Pride flag, was vandalized overnight.

The front window pane of the downtown Knoxville clothing store, French Fried Vintage, was shattered on Friday. Co-owner of French Fried, Jenny Salata, said they got the call from a neighboring business the next morning for what they initially thought was an accident.

“Woke up to evil in the world today. We felt angry and hurt, we were mad. Anxiety and stressed out over this. We had hoped it was an accident. As we learned another business had the same thing happen, a window with a Pride flag smashed. Our hearts hurt more with this news. Frustrated. Infuriated Sad,” French Fried shared in a post on social media…
