MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WATE) — Many people buy an extended warranty for major home appliances. It brings “peace of mind,” but what if the repairmen can’t seem to fix the appliance?
Bill Martin’s refrigerator hasn’t been cooling properly since April. He’s had it worked on three times, and it still doesn’t work properly. Martin just renewed his $700 per year full warranty package. He’s never had to use it until this year when his refrigerator went on the blink. The warranty company has sent certified repairmen from several different businesses, but not one of them has fixed the problem.
